Devised a communication strategy for Transport for NSW (TfNSW) to engage public interest and feedback on the NSW Government’s long-term transport master plan (LTTMP). TfNSW is the government super agency that controls infrastructure operations in NSW. The strategy included developing a mechanism for surveying the public to ascertain their views on the LTTMP goals and objectives, developing personas for TfNSW’s Future Strategy Planning web site to enable content to be targeted at three user types rather than multiple demographics, writing web content and branding the campaign. Presented at LTTMP meetings as TfNSW’s community engagement representative.
Devised and managed a communications strategy for travel insurer Aussietravelcover (annual revenue $3 million, 700,000 customers) to promote its insurance products. Prepared media releases, monitored news and information in all formats – print, broadcast and online – and responded as Aussietravelcover’s spokesperson when appropriate. Provided recommendations for future protection. Worked with senior staff and updated key messages. Liaised with government and stakeholders.
Wrote and produced superannuation fund First Super’s online publications (72,000 members, $2b in funds under management). Introduced three new e-newsletters.
Devised and managed a restructure of communication services at training provider AlertForce, including the introduction of new online portals and a media release campaign.
Devised and managed a communications strategy for Cubetape for the European launch of a scanner for measuring dimensional weight of freight. Devised media kit, letter to CEOs, online campaign and brochures.
